Local Communities Hathaway Pines
Hathaway Pines is a small community located about 5 miles west of Arnold. But beware, if you blink, you just might miss it! Although the "town" itself consists of the Department of Forestry visitor information center, a garden shop and a stained glass shop, tucked into the hills on either side of the highway are several subdivisions. Sunrise Point and Canyon View Ranch are situated to the South, and Hathaway Mountain Pines is on the North side. Sunrise Point and Canyon View sit adjacent to the Stanislaus River Canyon and some of the lots provide very nice vistas of the canyon. Hathaway Mountain Pines is near a small pocket of National Forest which can be used for hiking, biking and horseback riding. All 3 of these areas are on septic systems and obtain their water from Calaveras County Water District. They do not have access to any homeowners association amenities. | |||||||
