Local Communities Fly-In Acres
The Fly-In Acres community has been gaining in popularity over the last few years. It got its name due to the fact that the meadow where the lake is now located, used to contain a small airstrip. That's why you'll find street names like Mustang, Lightning, Airacobra, War Hawk, and Thunderbolt. It is a small subdivision, consisting of only 160 parcels, with lots that are larger than average size, allowing homeowners to enjoy a greater feeling of privacy. The dues are $75.00 annually which gives residents the use of the Fly-In Lake and picnic area on Moran Road. They obtain their water through a mutual water company with a fee of $475/yr for a full-time resident, and $425/yr for vacation residency.
